Toki Asako – Lonely Ghost

Marking the 20th anniversary of her solo debut this year, singer Asako Toki, who continues to work energetically with the release of a best album, live tours, and collaborations with various artists, is releasing her first original album in about three years, titled “Lonely Ghost.” She teamed up with sound producer Tomi Yo for the first time in about five years, and together they created all the songs on the album.

The album expresses everyday dissonances and inexplicable encounters in life, calling them “mysteries” and capturing them in one album. It vividly portrays the strange and curious journey of human life, constantly weaving between fiction and non-fiction, with a touch of poignancy and sparkle.

Reflecting on her 20-year music career with a best album released in April, she takes a bold and fresh step into her 21st year with this original album. A tour will also be held in February 2025, covering three cities: Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
