Music duo Yuzu released a surprise new song, “Flowers,” on the 27th. They also released a new artist photo. The artist photo depicts the world of the song’s concept of “flowers.”.

The new song was a complete surprise, with no prior notice or hints on SNS. The lyrics were written by Kitagawa Yuujin, and the music was composed by Kitagawa and music producer TeddyLoid.

While carrying out the nationwide arena tour “YUZU ARENA TOUR 2024-2025 Zukan Supported by NISSAN SAKURA,” Kitagawa felt the desire to create a song that would further expand the world of his latest album “Zukan,” and he created the song during the tour.

The announcement states that the song is an update of the fusion of musical exploration and diverse sound making that was expressed in the album, and while the free-flowing harmony and piercing melody of Kitagawa and Iwasawa Koji remain intact, it is an uptempo tune characterized by solid acoustic guitar and digital sound.

Yuzu will hold their first orchestra concert, “YUZU Orchestra Concert 2024 Yuzu Osaka,” at BUNTAI Yokohama, Kanagawa for two days on the 30th and 31st of this month. They will resume their arena tour next month, with a total of 36 performances planned, including the additional performance “YUZU ARENA TOUR 2025 Zukan spring has come Supported by NISSAN SAKURA” to be held in March.
